What yoga can do for YOU

The physical benefits: Tone and strengthen your body. Improves flexibility, breathing, energy, and vitality. Help to balance metabolism. Improve cardio and circulatory health. Relieve pain from tension, injury or arthritis. Look and feel younger!

The mental benefits: Learn to handle stressful situations reducing the negative effects on your body. Learn to quiet the mind so you can focus your energy where you want it to go — into a yoga pose, on the golf course, or at work. Encourage positive thoughts and self-acceptance.

The spiritual benefits: Build awareness of your body, your feelings, the world around you, the needs of others.

Anyone can do yoga: Regardless of age or size, whether you’re a couch potato or athlete, it does not matter because there are modifications for every yoga pose. The idea is to explore your limits, not to feel pain, but to release the tension you are holding onto.

Remember When!: When we were babies we were all flexible.  As babies, we were once able to pull our toes up by our ears and twist our bodies into all sorts of positions.  Then we aged, became sedentary, perhaps had injuries, and began carrying stress in our shoulders and back.
We lost our balance in life.
Yoga is an ancient practice that helps create a sense of union in body, mind, and spirit. It helps us bring balance into our lives again.
